General Overview
I love learning but I get tired of school and assignments sometimes. Mediocre/standardized curriculums drive me absolutely crazy.
I hope to attend medical school someday or maybe become an engineer.
I believe that life can be a wonderful experience if you choose to make it so. Despite this, I can still be jaded and cynical sometimes though.
Buried somewhere beneath my many layers of cynicism, I possess "people skills" (yes, I know it's hard to believe but I assure you, it's true) so I usually come off as mild-mannered and pleasant. People I meet usually like me :)
I love animals and it sickens me to the core when I see or hear of people doing things to harm them.
Racism and discrimination disgust me more than I can describe in words. I feel that everyone deserves the same rights and respect regardless of everything except for their own actions for which they are accountable.
I don't care for profanity much (I swear more online than I do offline) though I use it sometimes if I'm mad or for emphasis. Generally, I feel that it's distasteful and if you can't get your point across without swearing, you must not have much of an argument to begin with.
I'm somewhat of a feminist and I despise anything that degrades or objectifies women (this includes women who have no respect for themselves).
I try to be as kind to people as I can but I can be judgmental and critical, at times.
My friends and family mean more than anything else to me. I love them all very dearly and I would do anything (including die) for them.
Interests
Obviously, I really love graphic design and web programming. I'm also interested in object oriented programming (I mostly program in C++).
I love pretty much anything having to do with computers and the Internet(malfunctions and lack of cooperation excepted).
I'm a major gamer. Some of my favorite games include Zelda, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Command and Conquer (Tiberium Wars & Generals, mostly), Harvest Moon, Portal,Halo, Guitar Hero, and Rock Band. I'm also a recovering WoW (World of Warcraft) addict - I forced myself to quit when I came to the realization that it was taking up far too much of my time.
I love science and math. Hardly anything interests me more. I like them so much that I have a subscription to Scientific American magazine and I have sometimes been known to read science, math, and engineering textbooks (and work problems from them) in my free time - I know, I'm pretty nerdy :)
I love fictional writing, especially science fiction and post-apocalyptic novels. I wrote and copyrighted a full length novel when I was only 14 and I still have many unfinished books from around the same time. I am currently undertaking another writing project which deals with the physics and math of infinity where it relates to traversing space and time.
I don't really watch much tv but when I do, it's usually episodes of The X-Files, ER, South Park, or Family Guy that I record on Tivo. I've also been getting really interested in a new show called The Universe which addresses various astronomical phenomena.
I enjoy physical activities such as hiking, yoga, rock climbing, and skate/long boarding (I know, kind of uncommon for a girl).
I absolutely LOVE music, which leads me to my next section...

Beliefs and Such
My first and primary belief would definitely have to be The Golden Rule (Treat others as you wish to be treated).
I believe that everyone deserves to be respected and given the same rights regardless of what their religion, gender, ethnicity, sexual preference, social status, or anything of that sort.
I have no problem with homosexuality and I find it quite disturbing that some people have nothing better to do than obsess over the sexuality of others (please focus on your own sex lives, kthx) and act like these are major issues when in fact, we're faced with much bigger problems than the gender of who other people fall in love with.
I'm very much against abortion; I think that everyone deserves a chance to live and it's very unfair that we have to live in a world where abortion exists. But when it comes down to it, I don't think that the government or anyone other than the women in question should be allowed to make that decision and I know if I were ever faced with the choice of whether or not to abort a child, I would keep my baby.
I'm neither a Democrat nor a Republican. I suppose I could be described as fiscally conservative and socially liberal. I hate George Bush but I don't care for John Kerry or many of the other Democrats either.
I'm an environmentalist and it irritates me when environmentalists are branded as "tree huggers" (or anything else derogatory) because caring about the state of the place where you reside is something that I feel EVERYONE should be concerned about. After all, who would want to live in a world overrun with waste and pollution and devoid of the resources necessary to naturally function?
I'm very opposed to most organized religions but I'm very supportive of the concept of God and spirituality (though I'm not religious myself). I dislike organized religion because more often than not, they exploit the spiritual journeys of many for purely selfish purposes (money, power, etc).
Last but certainly not least, I'm of the very strong opinion that stupidity should be a capital crime...just kidding :)
Well, that's just about it. If there's anything else you want to know, you can definitely ask! Thanks for reading!
